In Northern India, false accusations and lies are being spread by certain group of people in North Indian media . It's about Keezhadi, and the assertion is just too important to dismiss lightly. What exactly is the charge, who is making it, and why are they making it? Let's talk about it in this post.
What is the accusation.
- Ulterior motives and they are manufacturing history by hook or crook
- Its been done by Kanimozhi & Jagath Gasper who is getting funds from Christian machinery and a LTTE linked person.

- Persons behind the project are out to prove that there existed a separate civilization in Keezhadi/South India independent of the civilization that existed in North India.

He is the founder president of REACH FOUNDATION (Rural Education and Conservation of Heritage Foundation) had his education at Chidambaram and obtained his masters and doctoral degrees in Sanskrit from Annamalai University besides obtaining a PG Diploma in Archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India. He served in the Archaeological Survey of India for 36 years in various capacities all over India till his retirement in 2006. We need to know more about him.
It was during his time, 38 sites from Tirunelveli to Mukkani in Tuttukudi District with in a distance of 50 km was discovered. Adichchanallur is one among them.
The site that yielded numerous cultural assemblages of that period. Besides skeletal remains, potteries of various kinds, implements and weapons of iron, bronze ornaments, gold diadems were encountered by Rea. Many antiquities had striking similarity with their counterparts discovered in ancient sites like taxila and Rairh as in the case of metal mirror.
For the past 15 years, there was not even a proper report submitted, from ASI, and Dr. Sathiyamoorthy dismissed the findings and even reported to be said that nothing substantial findings were excavated from that place.
It was in 2019, after people filed a case against ASI in Madurai court, with the intervention of the court the samples sent to Beta Analytic Testing Laboratory, USA for carbon dating was obtained. The results were submitted to the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on April 4, 2019. Carbon dating of samples excavated from the Adichanallur site in Thoothukudi district has revealed that they belonged to the period between 905 BC to 696 BC. A Division Bench of Justices N. Kirubakaran and S. S. Sundar observed that this proved Adichanallur was one of the earliest ancient sites in Tamil Nadu. The court had expressed its displeasure that the artifacts, first excavated in 2004-06 under the supervision of the then Superintending Archaeologist T. Satyamurthy, were not sent for carbon dating for over 15 years. “ In spite of many efforts taken by intellectuals, historians, political leaders and archaeologists, nothing was done by the ASI, for reasons best known to them, to send the Adichanallur samples for carbon dating,” the court said.

And again through the court, the judges questioned why are they closing, initial reason they sighted was the license expired (?) and need to renew. Justices MM Sundresh and Sathish Kumar of the Madras High court's Madurai bench here passed an interim order on September 22, 2017, directing the ASI to renew the license for the fourth phase of excavation within two weeks and also to grant license to the Tamil Nadu Archaeological department to also start excavation at the site. On the question of closing the site, Sriraman also clarified that it was a standard procedure they followed to protect the site during the rainy season.
Its obvious that be it Adhichanallur or Keezhadi, if the court haven't intervened, nothing would have been revealed out to the public, and whatever reports we have today wouldn't have been reported or made public. So question now is Who has the ulterior motives? of what? and who is hiding here? and what they are hiding here? why did they (ASI) delayed the carbon dating results for 16 years, even though they have the facilities in India? and why they didn't renew the license well before its renewal date?
As we've seen in the past, ASI is uninterested in the findings and excavations that are discovered in Tamilnadu. The current excavations are being carried out by the Tamilnadu government through their own state Archeological department, without the assistance of the ASI of India. The TN archaeological survey department is not getting any support from ASI because of their own previous report card, thus they have negotiated an MOU with Madurai Kamraj University & Harvard University (through an NRI of Tamil origin), who are assisting with the carbon dating findings and other aspects of the sample
On their accusation of father Jegath Casper
They shamelessly claim that Christian missionary funds are arriving through father Jegath Casper and helping the excavations, despite the fact that they know he is a Tamil loyalist who is engaged. Jegath Casper has a lower standard of living than those who accuse him. And aren't they blundering by saying this when they have the power and control over the RBI? How are they allowing those monies to enter India? They can sue him and imprison him in the ISA for this precise reason that they accuse him of. Why aren't they doing things instead of just talking and confounding people?
Keep in mind that all of this occurred in 2018 and 2019, while the DMK or Kanimozhi were not in power. Jegath Casper is a Christian who is well-known for being a Tamil socialist who has dedicated himself to re-establishing the lost Tamil heritage and culture, not to split Tamil Nadu from India, but to rescue a language, with proper research, which may turn the entire history of the globe.
Isn't TN's accomplishment recognised as INDIA's accomplishment? Isn't it true that it would give additional feathers to the India wings? So, why is there a lack of objectivity when it comes to Tamil and Tamil culture? What are they afraid of?
Keep in mind that it is our very own so-called hindu saviours of Tamilnadu who are doing all of this, not the north Indians or not the other religion people.
These people are causing havoc and confusion with this keezhadi issue, just as they did with their news paper Dinmalar, which reported out of nowhere that the central government was going to divide Tamilnadu by separating it as Kongu Mandalam, which was later denied by a BJP spokesperson from the centre. And only they know why they're crying, as the judges themselves have questioned. What are they frightened of? Readers, do you have any guesses?
